The house
A house with many lives
The same rooms can hold a quiet morning, a full table or a scene on screen. Come and see the house behind those different moments.
A guest who has only seen Casa Vilá Reyes in photographs may remember the pool first. Someone who has stayed here may remember a particular chair, a long conversation or the way the light reaches the dining table. For us, these are all parts of the same house. Set in Sant Vicenç de Montalt on the Maresme coast, it makes room for different kinds of days without asking every group to follow the same script.
The rooms change with the company
On a family stay, people tend to spread out and find one another again. Breakfast may begin in a small group; later, more voices gather around the table. Some guests head for the pool while others stay in the living room or take a walk through the gardens. The house has bedrooms, dining spaces and several places to sit together, but also corners where a quieter hour feels natural.
That flexibility matters when friends or several generations travel together. A shared stay is easier when there is space for the group to meet and space for each person to step away. The main house is the setting for a larger gathering; for a smaller group, the Pool House offers its own living spaces, porch and private garden within the wider estate. The pool, sports areas, gardens and woodland belong to the wider shared estate, with access and conditions confirmed for each stay.
Beyond a holiday
The same rooms have welcomed celebrations and working groups. A meal can move from the dining room to a terrace; a conversation begun indoors can continue in the garden. Our experiences show several ways guests use the house, from time with family and friends to meetings, sport and yoga. Each plan has its own practical needs, so we prefer to discuss the shape of a visit before promising a particular arrangement.
There is also a life of the house that most guests first encounter on screen. Its pool, façade, kitchen, dining rooms and living areas have appeared in selected series, music videos and advertisements. Nit i Dia and Todos mienten are among the productions presented in our published filming collection. That page shows the works and the actual spaces, with credits and links to the productions. It is another way to explore the rooms before you visit.
The part you bring
What makes a visit memorable rarely fits a category. It may be a morning swim, a table that stays occupied long after lunch or a walk outside before everyone comes back in. The house provides the setting; the people who arrive give it its next life.
If you are imagining a stay, gathering or shoot, tell us what you have in mind. We can talk through the spaces and what is possible for your group.
