Plan your stay

Main house or Pool House?

One estate, two ways to stay. The right choice depends on your group, the spaces you need and how you want to spend the day.

Both stays begin at Casa Vilá Reyes, yet they suit different plans. The main house gives a larger group many rooms in which to meet, eat and settle in. The Pool House offers a smaller home with its own porch and garden, while keeping the wider estate close at hand. Choose according to your group size, the shared rooms you need and how much independent space you would value.

When the main house makes sense

If several branches of a family are travelling together, or friends want to spend a few days under one roof, the main house provides bedrooms and a choice of living and dining spaces. Its rooms allow a group to gather at the table, continue a conversation in a sitting room and find a quieter corner later. The current estate description presents twelve double bedrooms and room for 24 overnight guests in the main house. What matters just as much as the number is how your group wants to use those shared rooms.

A larger stay may include a meal, a celebration or time spent working together. These plans call for different arrangements, so it helps to describe them when you enquire. We can then discuss which spaces are suitable, along with the conditions of your proposed stay.

What the Pool House gives you

The Pool House has its own living, dining and kitchen spaces, a covered porch and a private garden. It can be a comfortable base for a smaller group that wants to eat, read and spend time outdoors at its own pace. The published sleeping arrangement is currently for six; accommodation for up to nine depends on a different configuration, which must be agreed in advance. If friends who are not staying overnight might join you for a meal, that is also a matter to discuss beforehand, including numbers, use of outdoor space and timing.

The house and its own garden are private to its guests. The estate beyond them is a different matter: the pool, sports areas, other gardens and woodland are wider estate facilities. The Pool House page explains that main-house guests may also use them during mid and low season. Access, opening times and conditions are confirmed for each stay. A Pool House booking should therefore not be read as exclusive use of the whole estate.

Decide by the shape of your visit

Start with the overnight group. Then consider whether everyone expects to gather around one large table, whether you need several rooms for different parts of the day, and whether you would value an independent garden and porch. If your plans include daytime guests or a specific event, mention that too. Those details are more helpful than choosing solely from photographs.

The 3D visit to the main house also helps you see how rooms connect before discussing the arrangement for your group.

You can explore the main house and grounds and the Pool House rooms before writing. If you are still unsure, send us your approximate dates, group size and plans; we will confirm availability, the appropriate sleeping arrangement and how the spaces could be used.
